In December, twelve of our Year 8 Brilliant Club pupils completed their final assignments and received thorough feedback from their PhD mentor, Mr. Simon Buck. This is the third consecutive Brilliant Club Scholars’ Programme that has been completed at Thornhill Academy by some of our highest attaining pupils.

The History department has been successful in securing the time of a Holocaust survivor to speak to our year 9 students about their personal experiences of the Holocaust.
We have been so impressed with our pupil's engagement in their remote learning so far this week. This is new for all of us and it is great that we are all learning together!
