I am delighted to inform you that as part of Holocaust Memorial Day, which takes place on 27^th January, the History department has been successful in securing the time of a Holocaust survivor to speak to our year 9 students about their personal experiences of the Holocaust. This is a phenomenal opportunity for our students at Thornhill, who study the Holocaust as part of the History curriculum, to learn about it by listening to the words of a survivor and being able to ask questions and answer any questions that they may have.
